I noticed on your web site you were wondering who the parents of the
infant son born in 1820 to S & F Landers is. Simon Landers and Francis
Reavis are the parents of the infant. I have never been able to find
proof of who Simon's parents were. A fellow Landers researcher with
much more information on the Landers than I have has told me she thinks
his father was James. Simon was born Sept 30, 1803 Kentucky and died
Jan. 30, 1866 and is buried in Grassy Ridge Cemetery, Bloomington,
McLean County, Illinois. I have not been able to find a trace of Frances
since the 1850 census.
