I am heading to Litchfield/Hillsboro Friday to do some research on my family
(Nelson/Wright/Lynn). Any good words of wisdom?

I have been there once and been to the library, but am planning on returning
Last time I was there, I had just begun the research and was not able to
get a lot of information.

Can you take a laptop into the library in Litchfield? I remember the room
is locked and that you can't take a purse, but I don't remember about a
laptop.

Does the Litchfield library have an index for the newspapers or do you have
to scroll page by page to find if your ancestors are in the paper? I know
the Hillsboro library has a limited index, but wondered about whether there
was a better index.
