Wouldn't you know IRAD would be down when I wanted to recheck marriage info.
I was able to look up James Kirk on the 1850 census and he is married to a
Margaret. This Margaret is 40 years old making her born around 1810. This
matches Margaret Whitten, not Margaret Renfro. Margaret Renfro was born in
1820 according to everything I can find.
Children on the census were Sarah 6, John 5, Elizabeth 3, and Mary 2. There
is also a Sinai Kirk age 18 in the household and I have no idea who she is.
