**Unless the system has changed in the last three years or so, the old
record books are available in a room of the old Montgomery County
Courthouse (in Hillsboro) to which you are given access on request. In
my experience, these old records are VERY incomplete. If you can't visit
in person, see if some kind local person will search for you.
