Well, actually, it is a very distant connection for me, not an
ancestor/descendant. Emeline Sweet was a sister to my gggrandmother Eliza
Sweet Smith Mize. Emeline's first husband, John Tatch, died and she married
John Scheffler. So I'm actually looking for a burial record for Emeline
Scheffler. They weren't married very long and had no children together. I
think John Scheffler IS buried at Elmwood so I was hoping that she was also.
The other names I'm looking for are:
John Tatch
Almira Tatch
Lafayette Sweet
Mary Sweet
(any other Sweets)
I know Lafayette & Mary are in Elmwood because he's listed in the Roll of
Honor as being buried there. I just need the dates. Mary was a Cooper and
is related to me through that line also.
