Hi, Karen--

That's a good suggestion.

How's the weather in Mt. V. today? Hotter than it is up here, I bet. The
Mormons' Family History Centers are just great. I spent some time at the
Urbana center yesterday going over microfilm from England and Sicily. Here
they have a viewer/scanner/printer, and you can even save your scanned
images to a CD if you wish.

I think your best bet is to check with your closest LDS library. I think
each of their churches provides access, usually one day a week, and you have
to request the materials in advance. There is info on the main LDS site
that should get you started. I've never needed to use their local
facilities myself but know that many have.
