Norm:

Because of "political" reasons, we have elected to hold off on
everything except the 1850-1870 census. We have permission from both
Florence & Eileen, the compilers of this info to use it, and it is not
currently for sale by anyone, so I think we should be ok on that one.

We have decided NOT to use the other info(mariages & 1830 censux),
either on-line or listed as available for lookups at this time.
Later, should we get permission from all owners/authors, we'll take a
second look at that situation.

The search engine, when it finally does come on line, will be designed
for use with the surname index, queries & civil war info - nothing
listed on the lookup page.

BTW, there is a problem with the search engine right now (dumbness on my
part - I can't make it work yet) and it is not anywhere near ready.
