Hello:

Looking for ancestors of my husband who lived in Morgan County, Illinois in
the 1850s. First is the Charles ALDERSON family who emigrated from England
with their 10 children to Morgan County. This Charles ALDERSON and his
wife, Elizabeth are buried in Tippet Cemetery in Morgan County. Their son,
from whom my husband is descended, was Charles D. ALDERSON. He, early in
the 1850s made a wagon train trip to the gold fields of California. He
returned and married Mary E. CARTER, daughter of Henry and Mary CARTER of
Morgan County per the 1850 census. They the Charles D. ALDERSON family
made a second trip to the gold fields of California. They returned to
Champaign County, Illinois.

Need help concerning the siblings of Charles D. ALDERSON ( know he had a
brother Joseph ALDERSON)and the siblings of Mary E. CARTER. Also their
place of residence in Morgan County. Thank you. Jean Bell
