Thanks for your E-Mail message.

Information on my Sammons' line is as follows:

I believe James Henry Sammons' father was John, DOB 1790 in VA. His
mother, I believe, was Mary, DOB c.1801, TN. Siblings were Abner,
Martha, James and Mary. The children were all born in IL. Abner Sammons
married a Nancy and Mary Sammons married John Andinof. I believe this to
be the family of my great grandfather James that I am looking for. The
family was living in Morgan Co., IL in the Census of 1850.

My great grandfather James Henry Sammons was born in IL c. 1839. He
married Nancy Elizabeth Hull 13 Aug 1857 in Litchfield, Montgomery Co.,
IL. Their Children were: Sarah DOB 12 Feb 1862 in Montgomery Co, IL,
Mary DOB 17 Sep 1864 b. IL, Clarence Almon DOB 26 Jan 1867 in Morgan Co.,
MO, and Dolly DOB. 26 Apr 1869 in IL.

James Henry Sammons died 30 Mar 1879 in Carroll Co., AR. and is burried
in Litchfield, Montgomery Co., IL.

In information that I have, I found no Josephine listed.

bet is on the internet which I do not have.
