I was a friend of the late Mary Farlow Minniear, whose father was Will Farlow
of Augusta, IL (Hancock Co). He was livestock broker and self-published his
own autobiography, one of copy of which I know is in the old Augusta grade
school, which is now a museum. You might check there, and look for Farlow
relatives - I believe there were several, some of whom may still be living -

Also, Mary was DAR member, and her DAR papers would be on file at NSDAR, 1776
D Street NW, Washington DC 20006. You could write and send $5 for a copy of
her papers to get more lineage information.
