After typing the deeds to my 3rd great grandfather, William PITTMAN, I
thought I would pass along some of the other names mentioned. If you
recognize one as your ancestor, I'd be happy to send you the complete
information.

GRAY, Rachel his wife, and David BOYD of the County of Morgan...first part
and William PITMAN of the County and State aforesaid of the second part..."

Deed Book A, Clerk of Courts, Winchester, Scott Co., IL, pp. 40-41: 16 Jan
1838. "...William PITMAN and Amanda S. PITMAN, his wife of the County of
Morgan...first part and William ROSS of the County & State aforesaid of the
second part..."

Deed Record R, Morgan Co., IL, pp. 318-319, #8377: 7 Jun 1838. "...Between
E. P. ODELL and Susanna M. his wife of the County of Morgan...first part and
William PITMAN of the County of Morgan...of the second part..."

Deed Record Z 1848-49, Morgan Co., IL, p 260, #12331: 20 Oct 1847.
"...between William PITTMAN and Mary Ann his wife of the County of
Morgan...the first part and John DELANEY of the County of Morgan...of the
Second part..."
