Although I am not 100% for GenConnect Boards (long story, best not
discussed here) I have decided to go that route for
posting Queries and Surnames. This is a time saving method for me, freeing
me to work on all those Morgan County resource records that are just
waiting to be put online.

Pat Hall is Administrator for the Query Board as well as the Pension,
Wills, Bible records and Deeds. Someone else has the Biographies and Obit
Boards. We all know and respect Pat as the past Mail List Owner. I
appreciate her graciously volunteering to give up the boards to me, but
believe she can do a great job with them and take some of the pressure off
of me, allowing me more time to put those "old records" online...........so
I asked her to keep them.

Which reminds me, I have already set up Morgan Web pages for Biographies,
Obits, Wills/Probates and Deeds and some of you have contributed. So you
do have a choice on where you want to post them. I would prefer you post
them on Morgan page, but that is your choice. Or if you want you can post
them on both Morgan and GenConnect!

As for Queries, your only choice is GenConnect Query Board as of today. But
you may send the Query to the Mailing List if you wish, for all subscribers
to see.

I came to this decision when a publisher of a few Morgan resources, Eileen
Gochanour, gave me permission to use her books to put on the Internet.
Those include the 1850, 1860 and 1870 Census! 1850 is already online
although I am not sure it is complete? As for the other two, they are BIG
projects and one that I hope to get into this winter when I am snowed in.
The 1870 Morgan is especially large, would take considerable amount of time
to get online, so don't look for these anytime soon :-)
