Sorry if this is a repeat on Morgan County, confusion on my part.
Judy- Thanks for the information on the LDS film on Catholic Directories 1817-1994.
My connection with the Tiernan family is thru a Great Uncle James Russell. He married Annie Tiernan, daughter of John Tiernan and Margaret Mullan. I obtained the information on Annie's parents names from her death certificate. I have posted her obituary on the Plymouth County Iowa web site, page 4. http://www.rootsweb.com/~iaplymou/. This may give you more information on her family.I have not done any further research on the Tiernan family.Included on the web site are the obits for her husband James, children: Charles, Eugene and daughter Mary (Minnie).
