Thanks for the information. What I know about Bell Rawlings is limited. She was born Nancy Isabella Smith in 1881, daughter of John and Mariah Smith, married James Rawlings and had several children: Stanly, Raymond (died at age 10),Wayne, Ruby and Lena. The 1910 census of Nortonville Township in Morgan Co. lists James age 41, Nancy, age 29, married 13 years. Stanly age 11, Wayne age 7, Ruby age 2,
Hanna ? infant. No mention of Raymond or Lena. Anyone with info about her death or what happened on her way to visit my Grandmother in Northern Illinois in the 1920's will help solve this family mystery.
