Hello listers, I'm newly subscribed.

Looking for filler information on family of Dr. John Dewey ARNOLD. He was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1854. Member of the Illinois legislature in 1842-45. 1859 was elected as Mayor of Peoria. Appointed by President Lincoln as Consul to St. Petersburg, Russia in 1861. Also served U.S.House of Representitives for Illinois. 1863 died of TB.
