Hi all,
Catchy title, huh.*grin*

I really am soliciting submissions to the Pope
County ILGenWeb archives. If you have original,
non-copyrighted data like census microfilms, marriage
licenses (or the original microfilm and want to transcribe)
bible records, old obituaries, biographies, etc.
I'd like to see our archives fill up and I need your help
to do it.

You can get that information to the archives in a variety of
ways. You can send it to me if that's the easiest for
you, the preferred way is to send it by way of
, which is the mailing list
that was established just for archive submissions, or
you can go to the archive page and mail it directly to
the archive coordinator.
Your subject line should include the county, surname and
type of info. ie.: xxxcounty; Doe; Bio

I've been really tied up for the last few months and have
fallen off a little in what new info I could transcribe. I do
have an original copy of the 4 county history book
on loan and slowly but surely am
trying to scan some of the Pope Co bios.
