I am going to be visiting the Pope Co. area at the end of this month, for the
first time. I would appreciate any helpful advice anyone has to give me
regarding the area. I am going there to do genealogical research and also
trek through some cemeteries. One thing I would like to ask is if anyone
knows where I can locate homes that were built in that county by one of my
ancestors. What are some good
places to see there so I can get an idea of what was there when my ancestors
lived there? They lived there from the early 1800's up to about 1956, or so.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
