My name is Robin Rains Ruzicka. My parents are Claude Willis Rains and Ora Carter. I have recently just started to do some family research. This is what I have:
Claude Willis Rains father was Willis Lyman Rains, and mother Lula Ledbetter. I have Willis Lyman Rains parents as Samuel Wiley Rains and Minerva Joiner. Samuel Wiley Rains parents as Bailey Rains and Abigail Isaacs Young.

For the Carter family I have my mother Ora Carter's parents as Elijah Hayes Carter and Ada Mae Bebout, with Elijah Hayes parents as John Thomas Carter and Elizabeth Shelby.

For the Bebout line, I have my grandmother Ada Bebout's parents as Marion James Bebout and Mary F. Walker and Marion James parents as Peter Bebout and Harriet Catherine Wilson.

And for the Ledbetter line I have my grandmother Lula Ledbetter's parents as William Riley Ledbetter and Angeline Shelby, William Riley Ledbetter's parents as Berlin Ledbetter and Susan Catherine Hobbs, and Berlin's parents as Henry Ledbetter and Charity Edwards.

Most of these people were from Southern Illinois.

Can you tell me if any of this information is correct or offer me any help. I am also trying to locate Charlotte Walden who I believe is a cousin of mine. The e-mail address I found for her is not correct.
