I have a probate file for Wm. D. *David)Randolph who died in Pope Co. 27 Oct
1866. He married Harriet B. Trovillion in Pope Co. on 13 Oct 1867. The
probate doesn't list any children.

Does anyone know who this David Randolph or Harriet Trovillion's parents or
sibs may have been?

The Administrators were Harriet, Wm. Compton, and Wm. J. Gregory. The
appraisers were James Sheridan, John Bennett, and George Clore.

The sale showed the following:

1 standing field of wheat purchased by John Randolph for $5.60(is he
related?)

1 grain bundle? purchased by Sheron Watson for $1.65

1 lot of corn 25 bushel purchased by H. H. Norill for $.66

2 lots of corn 25 bushel purchased by Wm. Whitt for $ .67

2 lots of corn 25 bushel purchased by Wm. Comton for $.67

4 lots of corn 25 bushel purchased by Sheron Watson for $.67

5 lots of corn 25 bushel purchased by B. B. Morell for $.60

6 lots more or less purchased by Sheron Watson for $.63

It sure looks as if the corn got less expensive as time went on.
