My Joiner (Joyner) line came from VA originally, travelling through TN, then
KY, and into southern Illinois (Pope and Massac Co). It does appear that
many people went through TN from VA.
My Dye ancestor and my Joyner ancestors actually seemed to travel together so
they may have all been friends who migrated together.
