I also have Gallimore's coming from ROWAN, NC; Murphy's from Ireland to YORK,
SC to POPE; Anderson's from Germany to FREDERICK, VA to POPE; Weiser's from
Germany to PA to POPE; Smith's from Ireland toHANOVER, VA to JACKSON, AL to
POPE, IL. I am certain some of them stopped somewhere in between but have not
documented anything yet. My set of Smith's came to POPE to avoid the Civil War
in Alabama. The women and children were sent for protection while their men
folk stayed behind to wage the war.
