Hi listers,

As probably one of the most distant members of the list (I live in New
Zealand) I am experiencing a lot of frustration waiting for records.

I sent off for a probate to the court house last December and still have
had no reply - though they did cash the cheque in February! Even sea
mail should have got to me by now I would have thought.

I also sent off to NARA with my credit card details for records in July
and still no reply. This is particularly frustrating as the $NZ was
worth a lot more then than now (current value $US0.40!).

Is this normal or am I being disregarded for some reason? In both cases
I gave exact details as to the material required so that there was no
ambiguity.

Just wondering what others have experienced.
