Hi, I was wondering if you've ever heard of a Sanders who was married to
a Hussey? My unknown first name Sanders was md. to Melinda Hussey. She
was b. 1817 Ky. Her mother Elizabeth Hussey was b. 1787 Ky.
Mr. Sanders (my ggg.Grand-dad) supposedly died during the C.W. and
Melinda and her mother Elizabeth (Betsy) Hussey took the four children
to Vernon Co. Mo, where Melinda bought a horse/mule farm and raised the
kids. My g.grand-dad was born on that farm (Hiram Ripley Sanders). When
he was two months old his father Alfred George Sanders and his mother
Margaret Jane Gibson, McKinney ,Sanders moved to Ks.and never had
anything to do with his mother or brothers or sister again. It was
forbidden to even ask about them in the family.
Unknown and Melinda Sanders had these children: William T. (Will) b. IL
1849, Henry b. Il 1851, Alfred George b. Mo 1854 and Mary b. Mo. 1857.
