Of course, it is acceptable. I would be willing to bet money that the irate
poster is an incompetent subscriber who is personally unable to effect an
unsubscription from the list and thinks being offensive will get him some help
without actually asking for assistance. That way the poster doesn't have to
acknowledge his incompetence.
