I am VERY NEW to this list and to genealogy. I am looking for kin of my
mother Nora M. Mannin(g). Her father was Jack H. Mannin(g) and her mother (I
believe was) Susie Cantrill. I have an Obit from one or Jack's brothers (5
May 1979) which gives me this info.........

James C. Manning Oakland - James C Manning, 88 of Camargo died at 9:45 a.m.
Friday in the Douglas Nightindale Manor, Tuscloa.

His funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Taber Furneral Home,
where friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Rick Grace will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery southeast of
Hindsboro.

Mr. Manning was Born June 10, 1890, in Morgan County, Ky., a son of John and
Amanda Ward Manning. He was married in Indiana in 1914 to Ila Boardman, who
died in 1959.

Survivors include to sons Roy of Tuscola and Earl of Hindsboro; four
daughters, Mrs. Golden (Alice) Ray of Camargo, Mrs. Beach (Marie) Saddler of
Centralia, Mrs. Ray (Hazel) Adams of Indianapolis, Mrs. Kenneth (Lillie)
Warmer of Atwood; Three brothers Carl of Villa Grove, Bruce of Tuscola,
Rollie of Camden, Ohio; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by a son, three brother (one of which is my mothers dad
Jack H. Mannin(g)) and five sisters.

A retired farmer, he was a member of the Bushton Christian Church.

If I could get any info. from anyone it sure would be APPRECIATED. All I have
at this time is maybes as who is who. In advance I would like to say thank
you to all.
