I have a William Allen Shoot 13FEB1879 son of Sara Elizabeth Prather and
Mariman Thomas Shoot William married Minnie Jane Jackson on 24JUN1903.

Further up the line is listed Willam Shoots 1789-1854 son of John Shoots
1755-1816 and Mary "polly" Wilson Shoots. William came from Fayetville KY
with wife Virginia Hundley 1798- 1838 to Ashmore township abput 1829. There
is a big long story that accompanies the listings for this name in the coles
co history bok that I have would be happy to send a copy. LMK Cyndie
