SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICES

"Rev. FARIS a Missionary to China at the Presbyterian Church."

Very interesting services were held at the Presbyterian Church both
morning and evening. Rev. W. S. FARIS, for several years a missionary
to China, addressed a large congregation at both services. In the
morning he preached a missionary sermon; in the evening he delivered a
lecture of China and the work of the missionaries in that country,
illustrating his talk with stereopticon views. At the evening service
Mrs. FARIS, wife of the missionary, dressed in a Chinese costume
representative of the upper class of that country, sang a religious hymn
in the Chinese language. Other special music of the day were vocal
solos by Miss Anna GRATER and Harold MUNAL.
