Fred,
I bought my husband a book on Camp Douglas, last year. Will look tomorrow
and see if it lists any men. He is from Chicago and had never heard of Camp
Douglas until he took an adult ed class on the Civil War. There are no
remains of the camp. It was where Michael Reese hospital is - my husband was
born there.
