Hi all. I have the 1850 Census Index for IL and would be glad to do some look-ups. Please send all responses to me directly at so we don't clutter the list with responses. Also, put "1850 IL census look-up" in the subject line so I don't miss your requests.

Also, I can offer some research assistance from the Allen County Library. They are second largest genealogy library in the country with materials covering all states and counties. The also have all census indexes, and also have all census on microfilm. If you need any assistance from there, put "Allen Co. Help" in the subject line and send responses directly to me.
