I think you are a descendant of Jos. Kimbrough Isbell. Shane Oxley should be able to fill you in more thoroughly.
You can find her email address on the Isbell forum on GenForum. I'm also related but through Jos. Kimbrough Isbell's probable bro. William H. Isbell. They came from Warren Co., KY in the early 1840s or earlier. They were lead miners. They are sons of Temple Elliott Isbell & Anna Kimbrough of Stokes Co., NC.
