My great grandmother's grandmother 's father is Albert Troike who married a woman named Johanna. Their daughter, Maria Troike, is my grandfathers maternal grandmother (b 11/4/1858 in Lauenburg (Pommerom, Germany) d 2/14/1936) and her husband was Friedrich Brieschke (b 3/15/1858 in Zackingiem, Germany (also Pommerom) d 9/22/1932. Bother died in Chicago, IL, and Friedrich is buried in St Luke's cemetary.

Does any of this sound familiar to your history? Please let me know if it does as I would love to swap information with you! My grandfather and grandmother wrote their memoirs and another relative (Ed Giede) gathered quite a bit of information tracing my heritage to John Quincy Adams....so...let me know!
