I came across your request for Devantier family in Illinois. I am a descendent of John DeVantier (John DeVantier Jr., Edward DeVantier, Raymond DeVantier). Raymond was my grandfather. He had three sons, one of them being Nicholas, who is my father. I have had no contact with this side of family for many years due to divorce.
