Gullett's here in
Rock Island, IL. I've seen a sign locally for a business with that name on
it. Let me
check into it for you. Who knows it may be a lucky break for you, let's hope
anyway.

I am looking for information on Lenke H. (Luke) Gullett born abt 1823 in
Tennessee or Illinois. He was married to Rebecca Stephenson born about 1828
in Illinois. They were married Oct 14, 1847 in Obion County, TN. In
marriage records he is listed as Lenke H. Gullett. He is listed as Luke
Gullett in the census records. Children of Luke and Rebecca are James
Gullett born abt 1848 in TN and Stephen Gullett born abt 1853 in ILL.
He is in the 1860 Tennessee census, with his second wife Ruth, son Franklin
born abt 1856 in ILL and Charles (George T.?) born abt 1858 in TN and
Stephen 6 (son of Luke and Rebecca). Another son, Robert M. Gullett was born
about 1865 in TN.
I have come to a dead end with Luke Gullett. I cannot find any further
information on him or his children. Who are his parents??
Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated. Bettie
