Do you know anything else about either of these 2 Thomas Dodd's, such as
were they farmers, coal miners, etc.? Any sibling names? Any wife's names.
Born in Illinois but when did he leave Illinois to go to B.C.?
There are at least two Thomas Dodd's with sons named Thomas but the birth
year of 1862 for the youngest does not match. You have to remember that a
death certificate is only as good as the memory and knowledge of the person who
gave the information. I have many in my files with incorrect info.
I'd like to help you but it's impossible without a few more clews.
