This is good information to keep in the event that I get closer to the family. The connection of Hannah O'Niel and James O'Neal on the 1880 is possible.

I hadn't thought of John Keefe(O'Keefe Is another possibility)in the Civil War. Definitely good information.

Based on the 1895 Iowa State census, the first three children were born in Illinois -- and Anna was born in Illinois....that's why I thought to look there first.
