My gg grandfather served as a private from Sangamon County in the Black Hawk
War in the Company of Captain Achilles Morris. They were discharged at Rock
Island, IL 2 July 1831.
Has anyone gotten military records of people serving in the Black Hawk War?
If so, where did you get those records?
Did they have any genealogy value?
