The response to my effort to print and distribute "Overstreets in Virginia -
300 Years of Bedford County" in 1999 has been met with some success and
recently several questions about when "is the update workbook going to be
available?"
The Thomas 'the hatter' Overstreet & Judith Walker family has had more
information exchanged than any of the other Bedford family lines. The
Bedford data base has grown from 6,000 to over 10,000 names. This growth has
only happened because of so many wonderful and helpful folks like you.
With this expression of interest, I am making available a workbook
with Thomas 'the hatter' Overstreet and Judith Walker as the eldest
ancestor. Distribution will began by the early part of December 2000, so
orders will be shipped in time for holiday sharing with others. Please
contact me if you might have any interest in considering acquiring this
useful resource of Overstreet family history.
A prepublication discount will be allowed for all orders placed
before copy goes 'to the printer', about December 4th. Email orders are
accepted and all email orders will be acknowledged. Orders will be shipped
Priority Mail after your check has been received, thank you. I expect the
orders to be ready for shipment on the 12th of December.
Please be fore warned! This data base is only able to grow and help
others in response to the information that everyone shares. You will be
expected to let me, or our friends at Rootsweb, know what corrections are
needed and the additions you know about and would like included into the
data base.
