Doy, I don't really research Savage....but I do have Savage info. Now...I
have a John Savage born in 1787 in NC who married an Ellen Wilson, then an
unknown wife and then a Martha Hazel. But this is strange...because I don't
think that these Savages are connected to my Goings line. John Savage's son
, a Hamilton Savage was a product of John's union with an unknown wife.
Hamilton was a very interesting character - was known as a doctor...had a
cure for cancer that he peddled. Ham died on Big Island, Glasglow Precinct.
When I was a little girl my grandmother talked about Ham Savage...and I have
old letters in which he is mentioned......Savage is connected through my
STRAIT line...completely apart from my Goings line.. I have a list of about
13 of John's children.
I know of the Benton Mo Goings but I could never figure how they were
connected to my Goings. My Goings came from WVA and before that from
Shenandoah VA. I can't trace my Goings to Ky...but who knows.... Let me
get together my info and send it tomorrow. Annette
