Hello Eveyone,
I was told the Shelby library has pictures of those in the Civil was and they will send up to 3 by mail, my link won't work. They will also do so if you go in and if someone prints this and takes it in mine will not be counted for them. I do need 4 and will gladly pay for the last one if it is on file. they are small ovel pictures but they are dressed in there militery clothes.

1
Mine are 3 Nichols from Illinois, George L. Nichols he was in the 115 Regt. he was in company B he enlisted Aug. 11, 1869. George last name is spelled Nickels on spme of his papers.(this one I never got a picture of) Union.

2
I have another I am sorry this one is a copy of a old copy from the book and I can't read much of it at all or make out the person in the picture. The name is Edgar Willis Nichols he was in CO. A of the 9 th Infantry he was a Sergent. He died at 89 and was died Dec.15, 1981 at the time of the picture is also in the book.

3
The next one is I can't read hardly at all it has Chas Nichols Mode Illinois. He sevred 2 different terms one was in the Hawaii Islands. I am unable to read any other information at all and can't make out the pictures.

4
The other one is James Nowlin he enlisted as a private 09 Aug. 1863 Union enlisted in Company F, 97th Infantry Regiment Illinois on 08 Sept. 1862
unit number 424 424 Mustered out CO. F, 97 th Infantry on July 29, 1865 in Galveston TX.

I was sent the 2 and 3 but they were copies of some really old copies and I am hot able to read them or make out the pictures. I was told the Library in Shelbyville has books and cards of the pictures and information on each one that inlisted from the wars there.
If someone goes please get these for me and I will pay the other picture and cost of mailing them to me.

Thank you so very much,
Barbara
