Hi Becky, I know of no other surnames previous to George and Virginia. I
do, however, know who most of their children married.
Louise Lively b. 1871 m. Mose Sharkey
William Lively b. 1872 m. Edna ?
Edward Lively b. 1876 m. Minnie Easterly
George Lively b. 1878 m. Lula ?
Emma Lively b. 1880 m. Jim Ward
Peter Lively b. 1881 m. Ivy ?
Maggie Lively b. 1883 m. Fred Sharkey
Abbie Lively b. 1885 m. Elmer Circle
Elizabeth Lively b. 1887 m. Fletcher Wallace
Joseph Lively b. 1891 m. Gertrude Gilpin

I was in the town of McPherson not long ago and visited the Register of
Deeds office. The kind woman there was very helpful. Evidently there were
other LIVELYS living in McPherson County at the same time as George and
Virginia. A John LIVELYowned 160 acres very close to where George and
Virginia lived. I don't know if or how they were related. I need to make a
trip back to do more research. Thanks for your time.
