I went to the courthouse today checking on your George Willis Higgins. The
courthouse burned in 1857 and the state if Illinois did not issue a death
certificate until 1877.
The cemetery index listed a George W. Higgins but the date of death was not
close to your George. There was not a Louis Higgins either.
