I notice your surnames include Faunce. I am seeking information on Mahitable Evans Faunce who was located in Henry County, IL, living in Geneseo in 1865. She is the sister of Remembrance Evans Ogden who settled in Henry County in the 1830's (my ancestor) and both are daughters of Thomas Evans of Luzerne County, PA.

All I have on Mahitable is that she married "Mr. Faunce" and was apparently a widow by 1865. They had three daughters--Sophrone, Jane and Ella, and one son Thomas, who died in the Civil War.
