Bob,
In the 1850 census of Whiteside Co....William H. Cushman and wife Betsey is living next door to Allen Baker .. Allen's wife is Narcissa born in Vermont and we have suspected she may be a Cushman... I have been trying to find the parents of Allen Baker, but still on the out look for Narcissa. Narcissa Baker was found in the 1870 census of Cedar Co. Iowa with her daugher Mary (Baker) Waterbury..
Narcissa is a very un common given name....is there a chance that William H and Narcissa could be siblings? Have you ever got any further with William H. Cushman.>Thanks. Lance
