Hi Jackie (and others that may be interested),

I've updated the 1873 Maps page to show which townships have been assigned.
Just pick one or two that is unassigned and send me a note so that someone
else doesn't start on the same county. So far, 10 townships have been
assigned for transcription, and 13 remain.

In general I'd like to get the information in the following format:

Township Name, Section No., Surname, Given, Note

You can do it in Excel, Word, or just a plain text file. If in Word or plain
text, please separate each column with a comma (,). The note column is in
case you need to make any comments about the readability of the entry or
something else.

If you find the images on the website too hard to read, I can send you the
original digital image which may be a little better, but is about 3 or 4
times as big. Let me know.
