I don't know if you have seen this site, but below is the link for Abruzzo.
It mentions a few churches in L'aquila, although I didn't have any luck with
Villa Vallelonga specifically.

Camp Site in Villa Vallelonga - Couldn't hurt to email them. They must have
many visitors asking about tourist sites, shopping, and churches, etc.
