Not sure on how Alquoqion was spelled in the area for the tribe or if they are Iroqouis, there are a lot of recognized and unrecognized tribes by state and federal along with internal tribal councils. I do not know if the Bureau has the information or the Nation's as I was not born on the reservation I came from. Do you know anything of a Denby, MN Band by chance? Both sides have a lot of mispellings like tribal and nation names, there has been restructing that has put some full blooded out and others that do not accept American ownership and property rights. Oligraphy might help as it did with my research, the European countries and Carribean territorities has slave documents saved before the USA was freed, tribes might of merged to become White and Christian depending on War Party obligations. Hope this helps.
