The community of Bobo, in St. Mary's Township, Adams Co., IN is named
for Judge James R. Bobo. It was a stop on the old railway that went through
there, and the community was actually platted as Rivarre, but the railway
station was named Bobo for the railroad's lawyer, who probably got it instead
of a fee!
