According to page 152 of the 1979 History of Adams Couny, Jethro
Sprunger was a veteran of WWII--surely his military papers will give you his
birthdate and parents' names. Also, his wife was the last execcutive secretary of
the draft board, 1967-1973. On page 150, ame book, she recalled that her
office was ocated on the lower level of the post office on court street, ....After
she closed the office in 1973, all records were sent to Indianapoolis, and no
longer available locally.
