Obituaries - Helen M. Fawcett
Funeral services for Helen M. Fawcett, 66, Village Green Apartments, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Winteregg-Linn & Haggard Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Miller and Rev. Virgil Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.
Friends of Mrs. Fawcett, who died early Monday at her home, may call at the funeral home after p.m. (sic) today.
She was born in Pleasant Mills on Feb. 20, 1916, the daughter of Lenard and Anna Rash-Troutner, and was married on March 22, 1941, to Alonzo W. Fawcett; he died Nov. 17, 1981.
Survivors include three sons, Gary, route 2, Decatur; Donnie and Roger, both of Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. George (Barbara) Hill, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Glen (Patricia) Sanderson, Grover Hill, O.; three sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Inez) Moore, North Manchester; Mrs. Richard (Opel) Andrews and Mrs. Cecil (Grace) Foor, both of Decatur; and nine grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
