Maxine Habegger, 73, Berne, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Adams County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on February 6, 1922 in Berne to William and Martha Bagley Beavers.

She was a former employee of The Fair Store in Berne and a member of First Mennonite Church in Berne.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Michale) Copeland, Worthington, Ohio, and Mrs. Stan (Nancy) Augsburger, Zanesville, Ohio; two brothers, L. James Beavers, Indianapolis, and Robert Beavers, Flatrock, North Carolina; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

A memorial celebration will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First Mennonite Church. Private burial services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mrs. Habegger's memory to the youth ministry of First Mennonite Church or to the Adams County Home Health program.

Funeral arrangements were by Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne.
